Windows 7: Powerful New Features & Easy to Use

The new Microsoft release Windows 7 brings a host of new and improved features. Windows 7 includes many enhancements designed to make your computer
easy to use, secure, and fun.

Keep It Simple

Windows 7 is designed to be simple and easy for you, bringing a new level of simplicity and comfort to basic computing tasks. These tasks are the little things you do every day, such as searching for a file, juggling open windows, and Web browsing. In Windows 7,
Microsoft has created innovative ways to make those tasks more time-efficient and easier to perform than ever.

Windows Task-bar, a long-tenured feature of Windows operating systems, has been redesigned to offer optimum flexibility. You can rearrange program icons in the order you prefer and pin frequently used programs or files to the task bar. You can also see a thumbnail preview of any task-bar item, and if you hover your cursor over it, you can see a full-sized preview.

To ensure that you can immediately locate any file you need, Windows 7 features Jump Lists for each program on the Start menu and task bar. When you right-click an icon with the mouse, a list of the most frequently used files appears along with common tasks and pinned files. The Windows 7 Start menu also offers instant dynamic search results from files, folders, and applications as you enter a word or phrase in the search box.

Web browsing is also enhanced in Windows 7 with Internet Explorer 8. Some improved Web browser features include contextual search suggestions; Accelerators to make navigating Web pages faster and more intuitive; and Web Slices, which allow users to monitor certain parts of frequently updated Web sites without having to visit the site multiple times a day.
